Hack The Pandemic Co-Founder one of 15 Teens to Win National Leadership Award to Repair The World

The Helen Diller Family Foundation, a supporting foundation of the San Francisco-based Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund, announced the 15 recipients of the 15th annual Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards today. Among them, Hack The Pandemic Co-Founder and CEO Jerry Orans was listed as an awardee.


Jerry's work in creating a distributed network of makers and engineers who can rapidly produce disaster relief products when needs arise. Hack The Pandemic has mobilized over 300 volunteers to deliver more than 20,000 face shields, mask strain relievers, and intubation boxes.


The $36,000 award will be used to continue to fund Hack The Pandemic and ensure that we will be able to provide aid to as many people as possible.
